Description

Circa 1830. 3-bay house; 2-storey, with attic and sunken

ground floor, to south; 2-storey over basement to north -

rubble with ashlar dresings to south and east, rendered

to west, and ashlar, channelled to basement at north.

South elevation: pilastered and corniced doorpiece

between floors obscured by modern porch. 12-pane sash

windows; North elevation: porch with Roman Doric columns

and entablature, flanked by pairs of architraved and

corniced windows. 1st floor windows have moulded cills.

12-pane sashes. Eaves cornice and blocking course to all

sides. Piended slate roof with corniced stacks to west

and east, unfortunate dormer to south. Ornate cast-iron

railings to doors. 3 square painted ashlar gatepiers,

corniced and capped.
