Description
2 Nelson Terrace in Keith is a house built around 1820. It is a 2-storey building with an attic and has a symmetrical three-bay facade facing east, situated close to the street. The front is made of coursed tooled granite, with rubble on the sides and tooled granite margins. The entrance features a central door flanked by two windows, with three additional windows on the first floor. There is also a first-floor window on the south gable and a small attic window. The house has two later 19th century canted dormers and mainly features 12-pane glazing. The roof is slate with coped end stacks.
At the rear, there is a lower 2-storey wing. Inside, some of the windows have beaded panelled shutters.
The property is enclosed by a high rubble garden wall, with the entrance flanked by plain gatepiers and closed by high wooden gates.
