Description
18 Regent Street in Keith is a pair of north-facing houses dating from the mid-19th century, which also includes a shop. The buildings are constructed from coursed rubble with contrasting tooled sandstone dressings. One house features a symmetrical three-bay front (number 16), while the other has a two-bay design with a tripartite shop window and a return gable that extends into a single storey and attic. This two-bay wing fronts Nelson Terrace (number 18) and includes gabletted first-floor windows.
Both houses have doorways with bracketted cornices and feature four-pane glazing. The roofs are slate, with coped end and ridge stacks and shaped skewputts.
