Description

24 High Street in Fochabers is a house built around 1870. It has two storeys and an attic, with three bays facing south. The exterior is made of mixed squared granite rubble in pink, grey, and brown, complemented by contrasting tooled sandstone ashlar dressings. The flanks and rear are finished in random rubble. The house features a centrally located entrance with a cornice, and all windows have deep lintels with long and short detailing, which is also present at the corners. There are two canted dormers with 4-pane glazing, and the house has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
