Description

15 Maxwell Street in Fochabers is an early 19th century, north-facing, single-storey cottage with three bays. The front is whitewashed harled with contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins, and the flanks are made of harl pointed rubble. The cottage features a central door and 12-pane glazing. It has end stacks and a roof made of graded Banffshire slate.

Inside, there is a hanging lum on the east gable that ends in a conventional gablehead stack, and the west gable has conventional flues. The interior also includes two box bed recesses with doors.
