Description
This building, constructed in 1822, is a single-storey former school that is now part of a church hall. It features six bays facing Oakshaw Street and three bays on Orr Street, with a rounded corner. The exterior is made of painted ashlar. On Oakshaw Street, there are cilled, eight-pane sash windows. A band course runs between the windows and continues as a cill band for the blind windows on Orr Street. Above each window, there is a recessed panel. The building has a raised parapet with ornamented terminal caps over the two central bays on Oakshaw Street. The roof is slate, with a tapering stack on Orr Street.
