Dirleton Parish Church Hall, Manse Road, Dirleton

Dirleton Parish Church Hall, located on Manse Road in Dirleton, is a single-storey building from the mid to later 19th century, originally serving as a school. It has an L-plan layout and is constructed of squared rubble with some pinning on the south side, while the other elevations feature random rubble. The building is adorned with droved ashlar dressings, quoins, and raised cills, and the openings on the north side are chamfered.

On the south elevation, there is an advanced gabled bay at the center, which includes a bipartite light and a carved triangular opening at the gable head with louvres. The outer bays are recessed, with bipartites that are broader on the right side. The west gable features a birdcage bellcote addition to the north and has an inserted door. The hall is adjacent to a house on the east.

The windows are sash and case with 12-pane glazing, and the bipartites have timber mullions. The gablet skews are simple with skewputts, and the roof is covered with slate.
