Church Session House, Dirleton Parish Church

The Church Session House at Dirleton Parish Church is a small, single-storey building constructed in the mid-19th century, designed in a T-plan layout. It is connected to the west by low outbuildings. The structure is made of squared and snecked, droved rubble, featuring an ashlar base course and dressings.

On the east elevation, there is a gabled porch at the center, with windows located on the south side of the porch. The west elevation is adjoined by a lean-to rubble outbuilding, which has an opening to the north and is said to have been a former mortuary. The south gable features a single hood-moulded window at the center.

The building has sash and case windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The raised gablet skews of the Session House are adorned with simple volute skewputts, and there is a polygonal stack on the south gable. The roof is covered with slate.
