Hall, Trinity Parish Church, 2 Glasgow Road, Cambuslang, Glasgow

Trinity Parish Church, located at 2 Glasgow Road in Cambuslang, Glasgow, was designed by William Ferguson and built between 1897 and 1899. This large Gothic church features red (Corncockle) ashlar stonework with a rock-faced finish and polished dressings, topped with slate roofs. Notably, it has a decorative fleche-like axial ventilator or belfry.

The church has two main façades: the symmetrical north main gable, which is set back from the road and features a terraced lawn, and a large perpendicular-traceried window at the gallery level, along with 'towerlets' over the buttresses. The east flank, which faces Beech Avenue, resembles designs seen at locations like Clifford's Titwood or Cathcart, where the side is treated as the main front. It includes a gabled porch on the right and a twin-gabled transept on the left, all connected by a two-storeyed side aisle that has a sweeping main roof.

Adjacent to the church is a symmetrical range that includes vestry and office spaces, also two-storeyed, featuring half-projecting octagonal end towers with polygonal roofs. The main hall has a perpendicular-traceried gable window that mirrors the design of the church's gable window.

Inside, the church remains largely unaltered and features a gallery and stained glass windows, including one created by Stephen Adam located at the west gallery. The property is enclosed by an iron-railed boundary wall that steps down the slope, complete with gates and gatepiers.
