Description
14 Barns Street is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that is part of a terrace. The exterior features painted render, with a cill course connecting the first-floor windows, an eaves course, a cornice, a blocking course, and strip quoining on the right side only. The openings have painted margins.
On the south elevation, there is a small step leading to a central doorpiece with a cavetto splayed design, which holds a timber door and a three-light letterbox fanlight above. There is a single window directly above the door on the first floor, with additional single windows flanking both the ground and first floors.
The windows are plate glass timber sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate, featuring stone skews, coped stacks, and circular cans.
The interior was not seen in 1998.
