Description
20 Barns Street is an earlier 19th century, two-storey and attic, three-bay house that is part of a terrace. The exterior features painted render with a base course, eaves course, cornice, blocking course, and strip quoin on the right side only. The openings have painted margins.
On the south elevation, there is a central entrance at ground level with a recessed glazed timber door and a letterbox fanlight. This is flanked by single windows at ground level, while the first and attic floors have regular fenestration. The windows are plate glass timber sash and case at the ground and first floors, with four-pane windows in the attic. The roof is covered in grey slate, with stone skews, coped stacks, and both circular and polygonal chimney cans.
The interior was not seen in 1998.
