Description
11 Charlotte Street is an early 19th century, two-storey house with an attic, part of a terrace. It features painted render with a base course, a first-floor cill course, an eaves course, a cornice, a blocking course, and strip margins. The window margins are painted and architraved, with a cornice at the ground floor.
On the north elevation, there is a central entrance with a pilastered, corniced doorpiece topped with a block pediment. The door is recessed and has cavetto-splaying, along with a decorative letterbox fanlight. Above the entrance, there is a single window aligned with the first floor. The flanking bays have regular fenestration on both the ground and first floors. The attic features canted dormers on the outer right and left sides.
The ground floor has 15-pane timber sash and case windows, while the first floor has 12-pane windows. The attic windows consist of plate glass and 4-pane designs. The roof is covered with grey slate and includes a stone skew to the left, a rooflight, corniced gablehead stacks, and circular cans.
The interior was not seen in 1998.
