Description
9 Charlotte Street is an early 19th-century, two-storey house with an attic, forming part of a terrace. The exterior features painted render with a base course, eaves course, cornice, blocking course, and strip quoin on the right side only. The window openings have painted margins.
On the north elevation, there is a cavetto-splayed square-headed doorpiece on the right, which includes a recessed timber door and a letterbox fanlight. Above this, there is a single window aligned with the first floor. The left bay has regular fenestration. The attic features a modern double dormer.
The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass, and the upper sashes in the attic have two panes. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are stone skews, corniced gablehead stacks, and circular cans.
The interior was not seen in 1998.
