Description
Rose Cottage, located on South Street in Gavinton, is an earlier 19th-century single-storey, two-bay house that was originally an outbuilding to Woodville. The building features a rubble construction and has undergone later alterations and additions.
On the west elevation, there is a window in the left bay, which has modern external shutters, and a boarded door on the outer right. The east elevation is blank. The cottage has a timber sash and case window and is topped with a slate roof that includes a brick stack. The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1995.
