Description

Late 18th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay

house with single storey outbuilding adjoined. Rubble

sandstone with plain and stugged (later) ashlar margins.

W ELEVATION: door at centre with later windows in flanking

bays and to each bay at 1st floor. Machinery doors and window

to single storey outbuilding to left.

E ELEVATION: stair window off-centre to right; low timber

lintelled doorway to left of centre and narrow door to right.

Single storey later cottage adjoined to S gable, not included

in current listing. Blank gable walls to N elevations. 12-pane

glazing pattern to sash and case windows. Ashlar coping to

skews and gable end stacks. Purple slates; pantiles to single

storey outbuilding.
