6 Teindhillgreen, Duns

6 Teindhillgreen in Duns is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay house designed in an L-plan. The building features coursed stugged cream sandstone with rubble on the sides and rear, and ashlar dressings.

The front elevation has a base course and regular window placement, with consoled canopies above all windows and the door. The left bay is advanced and topped with a finial, while the right side has a blank return. In the center, there is a panelled door with a three-pane rectangular fanlight above it.

The west elevation is irregular, with windows on both floors to the left. The roof slopes to the rear. The rear elevation includes a projecting lean-to range on the right, which is blank at the first floor. The east elevation is a blank harled gable end.

The house features 12-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is a combination of piend and pitched styles, covered with grey slates, and has ashlar coped skews and corbel skewputts. There is a rendered apex stack that has been partially rebuilt in brick.

The boundary walls consist of a low ashlar coped rubble front wall, with square ashlar pedestrian gatepiers topped with pyramidal caps. The sides and rear are enclosed by rubble walls.
