Description
43 Castle Street in Duns is an early 19th century terraced house, likely incorporating older materials. It is two stories high with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is made of rendered rubble with a regular arrangement of windows. The central door has chamfered panels and a letterbox fanlight above it. The first-floor windows are positioned close to the eaves. There is a gabled dormer on the right and a Velux skylight on the left. The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case. The house has brick chimney stacks, grey slate roofing, and ashlar coped skews.
