Description
62 Castle Street in Duns is an early 19th-century terraced house that stands two stories tall with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is constructed of dressed rubble whinstone, accented with painted ashlar margins and eaves. The modern door is located at the center and includes a letterbox fanlight, with a small closet window to the right. There are windows in the flanking bays and on the first floor. The house has piend-roofed dormer windows that have glazed sides.
The windows are timber sash and case, featuring 12 panes. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are rebuilt brick stacks.
