Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house at end of terrace. Roughly coursed whinstone with long and short sandstone dressings, raised margins. Regular fenestration.

S (FRONT) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Slightly advanced pedimented central bay with quoins strips; flush-panelled door at ground with rectangular plate glass fanlight and small closet window to left; blind 1st floor window, painted with tromp l'oeil blind; blind oculus in pediment and massive brick apex stack. Flanking bays with window to each floor. Velux rooflight to left.

E ELEVATION: 2 bays adjoining terrace; windows to both floors; right window at ground inserted into former doorcase. Piend-roofed canted dormer.

N ELEVATION: rubble, with blocked door/window at ground and window to left at 1st floor. Velux rooflight.

12-pane timber sash and case windows (modern tilt and swing to N). Piended roof; modern grey slates; engineering brick stacks.
