Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house. Sandstone ashlar to front, squared and snecked to sides and rear. Base course, band course above ground floor, eaves cornice and blocking course. Painted margins.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central recessed and pilastered doorpiece, rectangular fanlight with geometric glazing bars, 6-panel door. Window centered above at 1st floor, windows at ground and 1st floors in bays flanking, bowed dormers with 3-light windows above. Single storey lean-to to right fronted by blocked ashlar gateway.

E ELEVATION: blank gable end with lean-to at ground.

W ELEVATION: gable end with window to right at 1st floor.

Timber sash and case windows, plate glass. Grey slate pitched roof. Brick gablehead stacks with full complement of polygonal cans.

BOUNDARY WALLS: coped stone wall to front (S) extending to left (W) with gate to right and left and large door to left.
