Description
Falcony Cottage is a later 19th century, narrow two-storey, single bay semi-detached cottage located on Springhill Road in Peebles. The exterior features white harl with painted margins.
On the south (front) elevation, there is a doorway to the right with a panelled door, leading to an open timber porch that has bargeboards and a pendant kingpost supported by carved columns. To the left of the door, there is a single window. At the first floor, a bipartite window with stop-chamfered reveals is positioned just below the eaves, with a catslide roof above.
The north (rear) elevation includes a small addition at the ground floor and a single window at the first floor. The cottage has four-pane timber sash and case windows and a slate roof, with an apex stack on the west side.
The interior was not seen in 1994. Additionally, there is a low boundary wall made of whinstone rubble.
