Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay symmetrical house with single storey wing to E and semi-circular stairwell to rear. Whinstone rubble, harled with painted margins. Shaped aprons to 1st floor windows.

S (FRONT) ELEVATION: corniced doorway to centre. Regular fenestration. Velux to roof.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: semi-circular stairwell to centre, lean-to additions at ground floor.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Slate roof. Apex stacks with thackstanes. Shouldered brick-built apex stack to E wing.

INTERIOR: not seen 1994.

Low whinstone rubble boundary wall to front with semi-circular coping.
