Cruachan, 10 Springhill Road, Peebles

Cruachan is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay semi-detached house located at 10 Springhill Road in Peebles. The house features a large addition at the rear and is finished in white harl with painted margins.

The front elevation includes a gabled projecting porch at the center, which has a replacement door. The windows are arranged in a regular pattern, and there are two Velux windows in the roof.

The rear elevation showcases a large rectangular-plan extension with a half-pitched roof. The house has plate glass sash and case windows and a slate roof, with an apex and shared stack that includes thackstanes.

The interior was not seen in 1994. A low whinstone rubble boundary wall runs along the front of the property.
