Timber fascia with ½ round gutter, single downpipe. Brown coloured concrete interlocking tiles on roof. One gable brick chimney and a second several metres from the other gable and on ridge. Each gable, windowless with timber barge boards. Walls harled and whitewashed with black painted plinth. The rear wall has a central 4 panelled door and to the left 1, 12 panedouble hung sliding sash window and 1, 9 pane double hung sliding sash. To the right a 2 light, 9 pane double hung sliding sash windows and a 12 pane double hung sliding sash. Walls finished as front wall. The cottage is placed at right angles to Springhill Road with gable close to roadside. A gravelled forecourt in front and to the rear stone built outbuildings with redbrick trim to openings with modern timber roofs and sheeted with corrugated iron. Stone gate piers with conical tops.
