Tractor shed, Springhill, Springhill Road, Moneymore, Magherafelt, Co Londonderry

This is a stone-built tractor shed, likely constructed between 1760 and 1779. It forms part of the wider estate outbuildings at Springhill, near Moneymore, Magherafelt, Co Londonderry. The shed is small, with a gabled roof covered in natural slates. It has a wide, square-headed access door in the gable facing the paved court, situated between the harness building and the coach house. The walls are harled (roughcast) and painted white, with one long wall and the rear gable being harled but left unpainted. The rear gable also features a single, louvred opening. Adjacent to the shed is a gateway leading to the court, marked by tall circular pillars with flat, rounded tops and wrought iron gates. The building's architectural interest lies in its ornamentation and its setting within the estate, and it contributes to the group value of the outbuildings. It holds local historical interest. The building was previously recorded under the reference HB09/06/035.
