Description
Campbell Lodge is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that forms part of a terminating terrace. The building is constructed from harl-pointed rubble with droved dressings, and the south elevation features cement-pointing. It has flush quoins.
On the north elevation, there is a stair window in the center, with a window on each floor of the flanking bays. To the immediate left of the ground floor window in the bay to the right, there is a small window.
The south elevation is slightly advanced from the line of the terrace and features a two-leaf door with a plate glass rectangular fanlight above it, along with a window on the first floor above and a small window to the immediate right. There are windows on each floor of the flanking bays. A modern uPVC lean-to conservatory is located in the center, extending to the left bay.
The west elevation has a modern part-glazed door at the ground level of the bay to the left, and a window on the first floor of the bay to the right.
The building has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, a slate roof, and brick gablehead stacks. There is a timber snowboard at the eaves of the south elevation, extending from the center but not including the left bay.
The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1995.
The boundary wall is made of rubble with rounded coping on the south side, featuring a chamfered Tudor-arched doorway with a modern timber boarded gate near the house.
