Description
75 Castlegate in Jedburgh is an earlier 19th-century house that has been reworked later. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure built from snecked rubble, featuring stugged ashlar margins and a large expanse of wallhead above the first-floor lintels. The right bay has a modern panelled door with a three-pane letterbox fanlight above it, and there is a Velux roof-light in the center. The rear elevation is made of irregular rubble and includes a large modern box dormer.
The windows are timber, with two panes that tilt and swing, and the house has a rendered stack and a roof covered with grey slates.
