Description

Predominantly late 19th century with earlier structures adjoining. 2-storey, irregular-plan industrial building forming 3-sided court. Rendered with stugged sandstone ashlar to E (principal) elevation; sandstone dressings. Long and short quoins.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: keystoned segmental-arched entrance; deep-set boarded doors; single window at 1st floor above. Windows to both floors in flanking bays. Earlier single storey whinstone range adjoining to outer right; blocked doorway with timber lintel.

S ELEVATION: 3 windows at ground.

W (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey painted whinstone wing with advanced single storey outhouse (now garage); brick gablehead stack.

12-pane fixed windows. Grey slate piended roof with skylights.
