76 Victoria Street, Kirkwall

76 Victoria Street in Kirkwall is an 18th-century house with later alterations. It is a two-storey and attic, two-bay (three-bay at ground level) rectangular-plan symmetrical building featuring a crow-stepped gable facing the street and harled exterior. The windows on the upper floor are deep-set.

On the west elevation, there are three evenly spaced windows at ground level, with a window in each bay on the floors above and a gablehead stack. The south elevation has a deep-set uPVC door in the central bay at ground level, with a window above it on the first floor. There is also a window at ground level in the left bay and a window in each floor of the right bay.

The house has modern uPVC tilt and turn windows, a grey slate roof with a stone ridge, and a harled, corniced gablehead stack on the west side. The rainwater goods are predominantly uPVC. The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1998.
