91 Victoria Street, Kirkwall

91 Victoria Street is an 18th-century house that has undergone later alterations. It is a two-storey and attic structure with a near square plan and crowstepped gables, located next to 6 Clay Loan, which is listed separately. The exterior is harled.

On the east elevation, the principal facade features a deep-set modern timber panelled door located in the bay to the left of the center, with a window above it on the first floor. There is also a window in the bay to the right on each floor.

The north side elevation has an attic window on each side of the gable, with a gablehead stack above.

The west rear elevation includes a forestair leading to a deep-set door in the bay to the right on the first floor, along with a window in the bay to the left on the same floor.

The house has 12-pane timber sash and case windows and a rooflight on the east pitch. The roof is covered with replaced grey slate and features a stone ridge, with a harled cornice gablehead stack on the north side and a similar ridge stack on the south side. The property predominantly has cast-iron rainwater goods.

The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1998. There are harled, coped boundary walls to the right of the main elevation.
