Description
9, 11, 13 Bank Street is an early 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay terraced classical tenement constructed of painted ashlar. It features a base course, a cill band course at the first floor, a cornice, and a blocking course, all framed by giant pilasters. The central entrance has a corniced and pilastered tenement door, flanked by shops, with the shop to the right being modern and extending beyond the gable end at ground level. The first and second floors have three widely spaced bays with regular fenestration. The windows are timber sash and case, with plate glass on the first floor and 12-pane windows on the second floor. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes a cast-iron rooflight, while brick gablehead stacks and ashlar skews complete the structure.
