Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 5-bay tenement with commercial premises at ground floor. Painted ashlar. Base course to No 7; band course to shopfront fascia; cill courses at 1st and 2nd floors; cornice; blocking course. Cornices to 1st floor windows; architraved margins to 2nd floor windows.

NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: recessed central entrance; timber door; letterbox fanlight; shops flanking; central entrances to both; 2-leaf timber doors; letterbox fanlights; flanking shop windows. Regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors. 5 single piended dormers at attic.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone skews; gablehead and ridge coped stacks; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
