Description
5-7 Bank Street is an earlier 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay terraced tenement building that features shops on the ground floor. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar and includes a base course, cornice, and blocking course. The first and second-floor windows are framed with architraves. At the center, there is a deep-set tenement door, flanked by shops that have additional doors. The center bay above the ground floor is blank, while the flanking bays have windows on each floor.
The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case style. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are mutual stacks, one made of brick and one raised in brick, along with ashlar skews.
