Description
This early 19th century tenement at 93-95 High Street in Ayr is a three-storey, two-bay building with an off-centre layout and a ground floor shop. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar and features a band course that separates the ground and first floors, along with an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course. The first-floor windows are adorned with cornices, while all windows have brackets and architraves.
On the northeast elevation, there is a central entrance to the ground floor shop, which includes a two-leaf glazed timber door and a letterbox fanlight. The first and second floors have regular window arrangements, featuring 12-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and includes stone skews, coped harl stacks, and circular cans.
The interior was not inspected in 1998.
