Description

Early 19th century, with later alterations, John Murdoch 1880. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay tenement with shop at ground floor. Painted sandstone. Cornice to shopfront; eaves course; cornice; balustraded parapet. Architraved windows at 1st floor.

NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-centred arched Victorian arcade to shopfront (re-clad in modern materials); 2-leaf glazed modern aluminium door to central entrance; 2-leaf timber door to outer left. Regular fenestration at 1st floor. 2 piended dormers at attic.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows at 1st floor and attic. Grey slate roof; brick stacks; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
