Description

Mid 19th century to left (3 bays), with alterations by Murdoch and Lockhart, 1909 to right (4 bays). 3-storey, 7-bay (grouped 3-4) Beige ashlar. Freestyle tenement with modern shop at ground floor. 2nd floor cill course; finialled wallhead balustrade flanked by dies and supporting scrolls. Moulded windows; corniced at 1st floor to 3-bay group to left; central window pedimented.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: modern shop at ground floor; 2 pairs of 2-leaf glazed doors to entrance to right. Pilaster strips frame central 2 bays to 4-bay group to right, rising to finialed balustrade. 2 single windows at 1st and 2nd floors; single windows flanking at 2nd floor only; regular fenestration at 1st and 2nd floors to 3-bay group to left.

4-pane timber sash and case windows to left, timber casement glazing to right. Grey slate roof; coped stacks; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
