Description
This building is a bank located at 151 High Street in Irvine, dating from the earlier 19th century. It is a three-storey, three-bay tenement with banking premises on the ground floor. The structure is made of whinstone, squared on the sides, and features rendered ashlar on the front. The ground floor has an arcaded shop front with a cornice above, along with moulded cill courses, an eaves cornice, and a parapet. The first-floor windows are architraved and corniced with console brackets, while the second-floor windows are simply corniced. The building has timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing and gablehead stacks.
