Description

Circa 1880. Single storey gabled church hall. Squared and snecked sandstone with ashlar dressings; base course to front.

SE ELEVATION: entrance porch to left of main gable, coped wallhead and door with moulded surround and 2-pane fanlight. Main gable with slightly stepped, tall round-arched 3-light windows each with keystone. Ashlar band to wallhead and dominant, bracketed skewputts; decorative metal finial to gablehead.

NE ELEVATION: 5-bay, with tall narrow window to each of 3 centre bays, blank bay to outer left and door in bay to outer right.

NW ELEVATION: tall lean-to spanning gable with blinded bipartite window on return to left.

SW ELEVATION: lean-to spanning elevation and abutting rear gable of church to right.

Timber windows. Small-pane glazing in fixed and pivot windows to front. Lying-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows to side. Grey slates. Ashlar coped skews. Ridge ventilator (truncated) and former gablehead stack to NW gable.

INTERIOR: not seen 1996.
