Description
This building at 89 Princes Street in Ardrossan dates from around 1860 and is part of the early architectural pattern of the area. It is two storeys high and features four bays. The exterior is made of painted ashlar and includes two plain pilastered doorpieces at the centre. There is a plinth and a cill course at both the ground and first floors. The building has angle pilasters with fluted caps and plain margins on the central bays. The ground floor windows are adorned with entablatures. A plain cornice and blocking course complete the design, and the roof is covered with slate.
