Description
The Royal Bank of Scotland, located at 93 Princes Street in Ardrossan, was built around 1860. This two-storey building features three bays and is constructed of painted ashlar. The central entrance has a pilastered door set in a slightly advanced bay, flanked by tripartite windows. On the first floor, there are three windows, each with hood moulds. The building has angle piers and a decorative course. The roof is piended and covered with slate, and there are end gablet stacks, each with four octagonal flues. To the east, there are three additional bays, which include a blind central window.
