Description
Bath Villa, located at 90 Princes Street in Ardrossan, was originally a spacious lodging associated with the baths that were planned by the Earl of Eglinton and later acquired by Dr. MacFadzean. The building has a square plan and features weathered masonry that has been patched with cement. It stands two storeys high and has three sash windows with painted margins and some original glazing on the ground floor, along with a central piended canted dormer. The first floor has modern glazing. There is a projecting porch and a conical slate roof with a central stack, as well as wide spreading eaves that have a plastered soffit. The centre windows on the facade facing Arran Place are imitation painted panels.
