Description
This building, located at 88-90 High Street in Maybole, dates from around 1840 and features two storeys with five bays. It is constructed of painted ashlar and has thin pilasters that mark the party wall, indicating that the original design extended to the north. There is a band course over the ground floor, which is now partially obscured by a modern fascia, along with modern shop fronts. The first floor has five windows, with the two southern windows spaced more widely apart, all featuring architraves and panelled cills. The building also has an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course, with straight skews and stacks, topped by a slate roof.
