Description

This building at 96 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, dates from around 1855 and is a three-storey structure with an attic, featuring three bays in a classical style. The ground floor has been modernized with a shop front, while the exterior is finished in painted ashlar. All the windows are framed with architraves.

The ground floor includes a cornice, and the first-floor windows are supported by sculpted head-brackets and feature a guilloche frieze, along with a cornice above. The second floor has a cill band. The main entablature is adorned with a guilloche frieze and a panelled modillion cornice.

In the attic, there is a balustraded balcony that is interrupted by three segmental pedimented dormers, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate.
