Description
This building, located at 55, 57, and 59 Buchanan Street in Glasgow, dates from around 1840 and is a three-storey commercial structure featuring modern shops on the ground floor. It showcases an astylar classical style with Greek details and consists of seven bays. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar, with sash and case windows set within architraves. The first-floor windows have ramped architraves with console cornices, while the second-floor windows feature lugged architraves. Additional architectural details include an incised eaves band, a cornice, and a pierced die parapet.
