Description

J W Laird and Napier, 1938-9. Tall narrow 3-bay,

7-storey and attic commercial building, 1930s classic

style. Ashlar. Modern ground floor window with large

notched keystone, door at right. 1st floor arched

windows, centre with mannered, stepped block frame.

Balcony over 1st, 2nd to 6th floor windows in-set into

full-height frame. Deco frieze, diminutive cornice; set

back pantiled mansard attic. Metal framed windows.
