Description

47 and 49 High Street in Lanark is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and features three bays, with one bay to the west that is curved. The structure is made of ashlar stone. The ground floor has a modern shop front, which includes a pilastered door and a fanlight to the right. There is a cill band at the first floor level, and all the windows are adorned with architraves. The building is topped with a cornice and a blocking course, and it has straight skews with end stacks.
