Description

37 and 39 High Street in Lanark is a building from the later 19th century. It has two storeys and two bays, constructed of ashlar stone. The ground floor features a modern shop front with the remnants of a pilastered door on the right side. There is a cornice above the ground floor, and the upper part of the building has two bipartite windows with architraves. The cornice continues along the top, which has a blocking course that is raised at the corners. The roof is covered with slate and has stacks at the ends.
