Description
This building, located at 13-19 Glasgow Street in Dumfries, dates from the earlier to mid-19th century and features two storeys with original shop fronts. The first floor has five bays and is constructed from painted ashlar with a rusticated ground floor and decorative architraves. There is a wide pend on the left side and an off-centre close door that is flanked by three bay shops, each with corniced shop windows. The first floor has three inner bays that are closely spaced, with two blind windows, and outer tripartite windows. The windows are small-paned sash types. The building has a blocked cornice, an end stack, and a central stack at the rear, topped with a slate roof.
