painted coursed rubble and ashlar margins; straight skews;

end stacks; slate roofs; plate glass sash windows.

House nearest W (no 27): 2 bays, doorway right with recessed

modern door. Piended canted dormer.

House nearest E (no 28): deeper on plan; 3 bays with central

door; modern dormer.
