Description

27 Galloway Street in Dumfries is an early 19th-century building consisting of two two-storey houses with cellars. The exterior features painted coursed rubble with ashlar margins, straight skews, end stacks, and slate roofs. Both houses have plate glass sash windows.

The house on the west side (number 27) has two bays and a doorway on the right with a recessed modern door, along with a piended canted dormer. The house on the east side (number 28) is deeper in plan, has three bays, and features a central door with a modern dormer.
