Description

The Council Offices at 10 Princes Street in Ardrossan were built in 1839 and are two storeys high, featuring three sash windows. The building is finished in painted stucco and has a shallow central projection with a pediment, along with flat angle pilasters. A Roman Doric columned porch is present, adorned with a dentilled cornice. The windows have architraves, and those on the ground floor include entablatures. The structure also has a cornice and a blocking course, topped by a piended slate roof. The original stacks have since been removed.
